We are pleased to announce that in 2025, our own Dr. Lynn Luna Jones became the first psychologist board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in the area of Police & Public Safety Psychology for the State of Ohio. This is a rigorous process, including verification of professional experience in this area, an in-depth written practice sample, and an oral examination with a panel of three expert psychologists in the field of Police & Public Safety Psychology.
Dr. Luna Jones has demonstrated her knowledge of case law in this field, as well as her expertise in performing assessments for police and public safety personnel. Specifically, she has the highest level of training in conducting fitness for duty evaluations for incumbent employees, and pre-employment psychological evaluations for police and other public safety candidates. She is also well-versed in managing EAP services for police and fire departments.
