The Psychological Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) allows licensed psychologists (doctoral
level professionals) to practice psychology across state lines. This applies to both
telepsychology and temporary in-person practice.
Telepsychology – Psychologists can practice psychology via telecommunications technologies
across state lines.
Temporary in-person practice – Psychologists can practice psychology in person for a temporary
period across state lines.
Note that not all states participate in PSYPACT. The map below identifies which states do:
At Jones-Wood Psychological Associates, Inc., we have two psychologists that are approved PSYPACT providers:
Dr. Christopher Kline provides psychotherapy for his Ohio clients and he enjoys being able to
provide continuity of care for them while they winter in Florida. He has many clients who are
snowbirds!
Dr. Lynn Luna Jones provides a wide range of assessment services virtually, including several types of psychological tests. The most common one is ADHD testing for children, teens, and adults. She also performs pilot ADHD Fast Track evaluations for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Dr. Jones can also diagnose other conditions virtually, including, but not limited to:
Anxiety disorders
Mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder
Obsessive-compulsive and related disorders
Personality disorders
Substance use disorders
Trauma and stressor-related disorders
